“INVESTIGACIÓN Y DIVULGACIÓN DEL CABLE Y LA BANDA ANCHA”

The relationship between journalism and telecommunications will center the I Congress on Broadband and Digital Content in Cantabria

The relationship between content creation and the band will focus on the 1st Congress on Broadband and Digital Content in Cantabria-2019, which will be held on January 24, 2019, organized by the Cesine University Center and the Cable Studies Center (CECABLE) with the collaboration of Blanquerna-Universidad Ramon Llull at the Cesine Auditorium (C/ José Simón Cabarga, 6, Santander).

“Digital economy depends directly on a constant flow of content creation (cloud journalism) and a universal and guaranteed connectivity that comes from the Broadband Society,” explains CECABLE’s director and professor of the University, Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila Gascón, by Cesine. “A correct combination of the communicative and telecommunication factor leads harmonically to social journalism commerce that is a natural and non-forced combination of content and related advertising options”, accords to Fondevila.

The event, which will feature numerous conferences of companies and entities, is part of the project “New Forms of Interactive Advertising in Television, Internet and Digital Media. Actual applications in HbbTV”, funded by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness.

Congress studies strategic indicators of journalism, advertising, digital economy and telecommunications, such as the possibilities of electronic commerce, the incorporation of HbbTV, the evolution of broadband technology and the relationship between journalistic and advertising content and the receiver of them.
