“Trends in social media metrics: advertising impact” is the scientific communication of Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila Gascón, Dr. Pedro Mir, Dr. Eva Santana and Dr. Josep Rom in the V Meeting of Researchers in Advertising. and Related Areas, held from 5 to 7 October 2015 in Alicante organized by RELAIP (Latin American Network of Researchers in Advertising), the University of Alicante (Spain) and Generalitat of Valencia. The study analyzed digital metrics used in advertising.

The study is a research work of the Research Group on Broadband and Digital Journalism and the Research Group on Innovative Monetization Systems of Digital Journalism and Marketing, by the CECABLE, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Mediterrani University School (University of Girona) and Blanquerna-Universitat Ramon Llull. The principal investigator of both groups is Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila Gascón.
